Kathleen Palinski concentrates her practice in the areas of probate administration, estate planning, and fiduciary administration. She is certified as a Family Court Mediator. She received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Michigan State University, a Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University, and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Prior to law school, Kathleen was a member of senior management for Bankers Trust of South Carolina. Since 1997, she has served as a volunteer attorney for Palmetto Health Hospice to provide legal services to indigent hospice patients. In 2000, the South Carolina Bar recognized Kathleen as the Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year for her work in this area. Kathleen has previously served as a board member for the Friends of the Richland County Library and for Palmetto Place Children's Emergency Shelter. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Richland County Bar Association. |
