COLUMBIA, SC – Rogers Townsend & Thomas, PC, is pleased to announce that new Shareholders have been elected in the Firm’s Columbia and Charlotte offices.

Joshua A. Bennett focuses his practice on complex litigation and insurance defense matters, with an emphasis on construction litigation, products liability, toxic tort/personal injury, commercial explosives, professional negligence, and other related areas. In addition to his legal practice, he devotes a substantial amount of time to serving his community.  He serves on the boards of directors for The Family Shelter, Town Theatre, and the South Carolina Bar Foundation. Mr. Bennett is a graduate of Leadership Columbia and is currently participating in Leadership South Carolina’s Class of 2017.

Erica G. Lybrand concentrates her practice in the area of financial services litigation, with particular emphasis on litigation involving real estate, title insurance, condemnation/eminent domain, and foreclosures. She also focuses on title curative litigation including quiet title actions, easement/access suits and lien resolution. Ms. Lybrand is a graduate of Leadership Columbia and chairs the Midlands Cinderella Project through the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division.

Diana Coada represents planned communities in both South Carolina and North Carolina, handling collections of dues, evictions, drafting and interpretations of governing documents, and litigation.  She also supervises the consumer collections department covering hearings and trials in both South and North Carolina. Additionally, Ms. Coada represents parties in construction defect litigation.  She is among nine construction defect lawyers at Rogers Townsend.
